Eye Care Camp for the underprivileged at Kaunia Balika High School in Rangpur

On Monday, June 3, 2024, Gram Bikash Kendra’s PPEPP-EU Project and the Quasem Foundation (Mariam Eye Hospital, Rangpur) organized a Special Eye Care Camp for the underprivileged at Kaunia Balika High School in Rangpur.

More than 136 patients received eye care at the camp. Out of these, 85 were selected for PSP OPD, 21 for refraction, 30 for RBS, and 12 for cataract surgeries. Additionally, one patient was selected for cataract and another was selected other operations. Also, free medicines and spectacles were also distributed to the patients.

With a donation of just ৳ 4,000/-, a free operation and treatment can be provided at Mariam Eye Hospital.
