Scholarships Summary

Quasem Foundation’s efforts also extend its support through its student scholarship programs. At present, 35 students are receiving scholarships from Quasem Foundation. Amongst them, most of the students are gifted and the Quasem Foundation simply helps them to continue their studies and generate opportunities to develop themselves, and their futures. The Quasem Foundation has additionally invested in a kindergarten in Ulipur and two transitory schools in the slum area (char). At this moment, the Quasem Foundation, along with NNZ is working to establish a primary school in one of the poorest, most climate-vulnerable regions in Bangladesh: the Ulipur, Kurigram District. The school will be completed and operating by February 2022 Both QF and NNZ will be donating $10,000 USD each per year to lower tuition fees. With this allowance, a minimum of 10% of students will be going to school completely free while the rest will be subsidized. Accordingly, it is estimated the monthly cost for paying students will be $30 USD. This amount covers overhead costs and is very reasonable for the quality of the school.
